At long last!. Now I can do away with the vinyl I transferred to CD that I've been using till now.
I take it they'll sound a bit better than his other albums taht are already out on CD with newer technology?
Hmmm well this is indeed great news, when I get these 4 CD's my turntable will be relegated to the Smitsonian Institute. I wondered what the heavy emphasis was on Dream Street Rose last Thursday night was all about. The only thing that bugs me is why he has yet to play anything from Salute in concert. I think the last time he did was in 88 and that was Tattoo.
I'm surprised he hasn't played anything from salute since 88. I gave the CD a listen again yesterday for the first time in a few months. Songs like knotty pine, tattoo, whispers of the north would work well to this day. Funny how that's the album that shows a definate change in his voice since shadows. I've had the title track stuck in my head all night
