Ok, I am finally able to put in my input on the whole Gord in concert thing...first, I am in post concert coma glow right now. Comment one - yes his voice has changed. Comment two - this does not ruin a concert. It was absolutely amazing, I went with my parents and my sister (me being the only one who had to drive more than 30 miles for the thing, 6 hours in the car and I am staying at my parents, but anyway) and we were right up front, my mom did a good job ticket buying. I was awestruck to be what had to have been like 10 feet from him. wow. anyway, it was fantastic and then we all went out to a bar and discussed over a pitcher of Henry's how his music has been such a huge part of our family and our lives for so many years now. There is something to being able to do that. You can see how much of a perfectionist he is in his shows and as my mom says "he doesn't cut any corners." I am still awestruck by the man, especially, not in spite of, having seen him in concert.

Pirate I would just like to say it's nice you were able to go to the concert with your sister, and parents. It's hard to find something in common with both parents ,and siblings. Not only did you get to see a great performer, and a legend, but also a great night out with family. When I went to gordon back in "94" I went with my father. It was the firat time I really had a chance to hang out with my dad in my adult life. Needless to say it was a great concert, but it was also a great memory. Just thought I'd comment on your post, it's always good to make new family memories. Especially when Gordon is involved.

My husband is still laughing about our first
Lightfoot concert approx. 18 years ago. I still don't remember a single detail because my heart was beating so fast and furious I just could't think. It was ridiculous. Just
like after the first time I heard him sing
IYCRMM I was SO stunned I actually couldn't
even remember his name for a couple of months. I was totally flustered by that first
song and the first concert. Not my regular style, so it was kind of funny!
