<cough, cough, grabbing inhaler> That was great, Erica! O.K., now I really am a funny person, so I should try to come up with something instead of sitting back and being entertained. Give me some time...

Now that I have posted all these pics from the Jewish section, will someone let me know what I posted? I sure don't want to offend anyone here.

Very Good Sheryl...And I guess Great minds think alike because I also thought Shellfish would make a good one, but couldnt think of how to include it with the holiday theme.
Since we're doing general Jewish themed Gord songs, I'll add a few more in a little while

You posted from left, starting at the top: A Jewish man, rabbi perhaps, admiring his menorah screen saver, next is a spinning Star of David. The Honk if you Love Hannuka Sign is pretty self explainatory I think. Though then again, you probably already know what a Star of David is too. Next, A boy dancing while dressed up like a dreidal. Then a rabbi blowing a shofar, which is a ram's horn blown on the High Holidays. Lastly, a dancing Torah Scroll.

loved it, Erica! I, too, thought of the one about Saturday Clothes, but, couldn't figure out how to put it in. Good job!

JJ, I recall once making up song titles in the unlikely event that Gord should decide to turn to rap. There were a few of us involved with renaming his songs. It was hilarious! So, why don't you turn him into a rapper, and we'll see what we can come up with.
cool, but maybe i'll have to email the pic edit for that (i'll try later to-day/nite), i'm just not sure where the line is as far as crossing it goes (or is it already too late? lol)
i was gonna play off the Eminem rapper idea but i understand Gord did some angry rapping during his hospital stay...how about Enima?
say, i had a hard, hard time refinding this thread, the subject is pretty vague, lol
now, i actually started a Gordon Lightstein holiday CD cover but got interupted and think it's TOO weird to post...he's even got those curly sideburns and wearing the little hat (what's that called? i wore one once at an event but my head was way too big for it to stay on in the wind)
you guys have done GREAT, wow, i love these ones best...i just love the ring to them
Oy Linda
Brisket City
The Sukkah is Small
and John,
Bitterly Cold on the Shoulder/Green is double the fun!
btw, that Gord Santa pic is not real, just in case it wasn't obvious....i think the CD background and Santa i used was from a Charlie Daniels cover...so then sorry Charlie, sorry Gord...well kinda, lol
ps) lovely snow covered everything today, but maybe the drivers aint SO lovely, off to find out >>>>

Well JJ, if it's a hard topic to find, you don't have to worry about getting caught.
Hey, I have an idea. Post it under the name DMD3!
Somehow, I think Gord would get a kick out of it. If not, the most we have to worry about is that he calls and sasses us. He'll say, "Hello, this is Gordon Lightfoot."
We'll reply, "Gordon who? Sorry. I've never heard of you. Oh wait. Aren't you the rap star who uses Enima for a stage name?"
Hey, when in trouble, play dumb.

If I got a phone call from Gord I would honestly say "Gord who?" Then I would immediately cruise through my memory banks for everything I have ever put on this board and figure out a way to blame someone else. DMD3 comes to mind, but I would probably have to blame Bill for wearing the clear panties and befuddling my mind. Then I'd tell him my real name was Sheila (heheh).

If I got a call from Gord I would tell him I told you years ago I didn't steal your Zippo so don't ask me again.
Brisket City is so good someone might believe that one. I want to see the Kosher Lightfoot pic.

I think Gord misplaced the zippo himself out of guilt over the Lyle "incident".
It was probably a reminder of Lyle nearly tartar.

That's what I told him! I don't think he felt guilty at all over eating Lyle near tar-tar. He looked like a bum eating a sandwich.

I'm sure he did, but he's probably in denial. Otherwise he wouldn't be obsessing over the zippo...right?

Oh, JJ, those side-curls you asked about? They're called "payess."
Also, what is the "Lyle incident??" And what's this about a Zippo lighter?

i'd give him some Lazy Mornin' attitude:
"hello there and way to go Gordon,
you're keepin' up with the Joneses,
but after my posting of your pic,
i'd hoped no one'd telephone us!"
