I would like to publicly thank my good friend John Hooton for allowing me to record one of his songs. John, I hope your endeavors pay off and you reach all of your goals. I wish you the best of luck and I look forward to hearing more of your material in the future.

A Thousand Thanks
Walter Farmer

Hey Walter, as a John Hooton fan (at least of the songs I've heard) I'd be curious to know which of his songs you recorded.

BTW, I followed your link to ampcast. I only had time to listen to your first song, Hard Rain, very nice

"That Penny", a wonderful lyric/song. I am hoping John will put his vocal on top of my music. His voice is much stronger than mine. I'll probably tweek the music a bit more after I get more feedback from John. And Janice, thanks for listening. I'm still looking for Lightfoot style lyrics that I can put to music, I can work anything from completed lyrics/melodies to rough ideas.

Thanks
Walter Farmer

Hey, I know that one! It's a beautiful song and one of my favorites of John's. Some of my other favorites are Simple Words and The Game, I think that's the name of it - I've only heard that one in guitar chat. (see John, I have listened to the CD - it's great! Thanks so much for sharing it)I hope to have the opportunity to hear your collaboration soon.

BTW, John, how did your studio time go?!? I hope The Game is on the new recording. When will we be able to hear the new CD?

John has graciously allowed me to put the song on my web site. It is toward the bottom.
