Bru, you're up very early!! Isn't it like 7:00 a.m. for you now? (I just learned you're in England, eh?) <hee hee> (picking up the lingo, too!)
Yes, going to both immediately was my next thought -- I mean, why NOT??!!!

Unfortunately the Universal Amphitheater is too large a venue for GL. Tickets for his April 23 show at the Cerritos Center are already on sale. That's not too far from the SF Valley!

I know and I can't make that show, darn it!! No way under the sun can I make it. <sigh> So, I just have to wait a few more days for Vegas, baby! (Why is Universal too big a venue? I went there for Tina Turner, Olivia Newton-John (hey, I was dragged there)... certainly Gord can pack it in!! I'll fight anyone says different! (sorry, that Timmy B thing got me mad!!)

Sheryl,
I wish Gordon could fill the Universal Amphitheater or the Greek Theatre like he did in the 70s but the managers of these facilities cater to a younger audience. Besides, I'm looking forward to seeing Gord in a smaller arena. And I have tickets in the 7th row! Have fun in Vegas!

You know, in the 70s and 80s Gord used to regularly play the Royal Albert Hall in London - capacity either 3000 or 5000 (cant remember now) and he used to fill the Hall! I always sat centre front row.
Yes, Sheryl, I'm in the UK. 7am isnt that early to be up, is it?

Shame on you Bee Zed re the RAH capacity
You can find it on the net
from:- http://www.royalalberthall.com/rah/t...conditions.jsp
Ordinary Let maximum capacity: 3,901
Exclusive Let maximum capacity: 5,222
and here are a few of them
In doing a google image search for RAH pix I discovered that
amazingly another musical genius appeared on that hallowed stage:-
