Ohhhhhh, Vegas would be fun too. I've never been. The boss has offered me a comp stay at one of the hotels . . . hmmmmmm . . . I'll have to think about that.

That "April jaunt through California and Nevada" has me dreaming! Being in San Jose, I sure hope that jaunt will include Northern California. It sounds as if the tour is actually planned, so I hope we don't have to wait too long to find out when and where! (And then I won't be so INCREDIBLY JEALOUS of my friends to the north who get to see him sooner.)

I wonder if I can convince them to move back the National Association of Broadcasters convention?

Why not schedule a week's vacation and stay for the shows ? As long as you're already there it would save on travel expenses.

That was cut & pasted from an email I got from pollstar.com since I am signed up for any Gordon Lightfoot updates. When I look at the pollstar listing by venue it does indeed show both GL and the Skillet Lickers on the same date ? But on further searching on that site you mentioned it looks like many dates have two shows at the same time. Looks like they have a dinner theatre type thing and a regular concert hall. So it looks like it's big enough for bofem (as they say in CA). Check it out and see if that sounds right.
