I do not understand what on earth you are saying Charwoman.
For one the red button has never linked to "my site" but as I have written a few hundred times it automatically opens mIRC, providing you already have mIRC installed.IF you had read and inwardly digested my fullsome explanation in the parallel Friday chat topic of how I managed to get the red button to open the non-standard .i.e. does not start "http" link:-

you would perhaps understand what is behind my fabulous colored buttons especially the dinky red one,
And for two I clicked on the red button above and blow me down wiv a fevver the chat roon opened absolutely correctly using mIRC as intended.

Or try any one of the other red buttons I have sprinkled they all worked when I tested them.

lnk.in is a free forwarding srevice that should go to the URL

that automaticaly opens mIRC. Where there have been at least 10 in the room all evening.
This UBB forum will not show that as a clickable hyperlink but anybody having trouble can copy and paste it into their browser (providing they already have mIRC of course)

Laurel - that's where I got directed to - Link.In...and then it would disappear and say the page could not be displayed before I could even click on the link to CHAT!!!
I imagine my son re-formatting the computer didn't help!

Clearly this in Char's case means " must Irritate Royal Canadians " (or in Laurel'scase substitute Rotten Creeps for Royal Canadians)

Lnk.in would be "Let No Kooks.in ". Appropriate to both ,but very brave of John to target multi media personality and Queen of the Lightheads .

I see Stephen that you are keeping up your habit of behaving like a hooligan and being generally rude.
I am however rather relieved that you have decided to pick on somebody other than me.
A friendly word of warning though having seen them in action together last May in Toronto (ask Rik)
