First comes January 31-HOB with The Rez or was it really Borderstone? This venue was a new one for me. I was not prepared for this night at all. As reported by the wonderful man(who ever he really was) this was not like any of Gordon's concerts I have ever been to. I am so glad I did not sit in my VIP seat. Being directly at Gord's feet and singing along with a room full of Lightheads was one of the most awesome times I have ever had. My mystery man was close behind me protecting me from the other women who kept yelling I love you Gord. I finally let these women know that I loved Gordon the most and longer than they had,so stop yelling. Two hours went by in the blink of an eye. I wanted to write down the set list but I hear the music and then I forget. Please forgive me for that. No concert will ever be like this songfest again.

Tonight-Agoura Hills, The Canyon Club. Again, a new venue for me. There were long tables where they packed us in like sardines. I will skip the dinner part as it left a whole lot to be desired. Gordon and the guys came out. There was some clapping and cheering but not enough for me.
I left my seat and walked toward the stage. I tried to get The Mans attention. He did not see me and started singing. I sat in an empty chair for a few songs and then tried again. If only that mystery man from last night was there to help me. Okay, here is a break between songs. I stood up and yelled "Excuse me Mr. Lightfoot(I had never called him that before). Finally I got his attention. I walked the rest of the way to the stage smiled at him and handed him a bouquet of long stemmed red and yellow roses. There, I did it. Gordon smiled back at me took the roses and said,"Thank you". I got a few tears in my eyes as I ran back to my chair. People were looking my way and telling me that was so cool and some other positive things.
Gordon's voice was stronger and he was looking mighty fine.
Last night after the concert I spoke to Gordon and the guys for a while and then left after taking some pictures.
Tonight after to concert Gordon came into the room actually looking for me to thank me for the roses. I had him sign a few things for me. My wonderful husband took some pictures of Gordon and me. Then totally in a dream state we left so we could start our hour and a half drive home.

Tomorrow after working half day we will head out for concert number three in a row. I think I have forgotten that I am 55 because after the last two nights I feel like I am 25 again. Thank you for reading all of this.

Hey Rez/Borderstone/The Rez,

Saw Allan at the Canyon Club just like you said. I gave him your hello message and he told me he had gotten your e-mail. I talked to him a few more minutes and then hugged him and left.

He must have talked to Gordon alone after the show because he was not backstage.

Please give your mom a birthday hug from me.
I miss you already. E-mail me when you have time.

Sounds like you had a great time! I'm envious, you getting to go to 3 concerts in a row! I'm still trying to get to just 1 this year so I can get my pictures from last year's Whitewater concert signed!

Enjoy tonight's show!

Hello Moosedog,

Don't be envious. Just put all your positive energy into wanting this for yourself too. I can help with that. After 27 years (I have been trying to figure out exactly how many) this is happening for me. If it can happen to me it can happen for you too. Actually, this is my Massey Hall. After tonight I have one more concert. The last on the west coast. I had my husband pinch me this morning to make sure this was real and that I was not being in my Dream state of mind.

Okay Char,

Last post I spoke of the feeling of being 25 again. This morning my body remimded me I was not. At least I am not in this boat by myself. LOL

I will share some pictures but I am sorry it won't be for a while. Ken and I are getting ready to go to Philadelphia for our big show and I have sooooooooo much work to do before we go. I promised him I could follow Gordon and the guys around for 4 nights and come home and work inbetween. Not a pace I could keep up for very long.

I really want to thank all of you wonderful people who love the music and that very special man who gives us so much of himself without even knowing it. I appreciate you all and hope I am doing my posts correctly and that they make sense. I will try one more time to write down the set list (or ask my husband to do it).

I have to get to work now. Talk to you soon.

Evenin' Sweet Dreamer . . .

Thanks for speaking to Alan for me. Today, as an outta the Blue surprise for Mama, Alan called to give his love. A good man and good friend.

I'll be forever grateful to him for introducing me to Gord personally some 25yrs ago, when I was Alan's Assistant.

Knowing Alan, then Gord, has been a life's dream blessing. Now . . . my heart's remaining desire is to see Gord at Massey Hall.

Peradventure that day will arive.

So proud of you for standing all night at The Mouse House of Bluze. You made the evening even more wonderfilled.

Good for you for all the Joy your receiving. Brings me Joy just to know . . .

Thanks again for chatting w/ Alan. Did he say anything about his boy Robin. Lordy, they look so much alike.

Sweet Dreams - Dreamlady

Rez

Hey are you the real Rez or are you Borderstone? Just got back from concert #3 and hope I stop smiling long enough to get a few hours sleep. Last night during the show I gave Gordon roses. Tonight after the show I gave him a gold pick. Tomorrow night when I hug him goodby I will give him a little piece of my heart. Each night has gotten better. Tonight he really sounded stronger. Ken tried to write down the set list for me because I was seat hopping. We had really good seats but you spoiled me, I had to be closer. :D Well, it was very nice of Ken to do all that writing too bad I can't read what he wrote. I got to know the lady with the jacket a little better tonight. It is looking mighty fine.

Anyway, I guess I should try to get some sleep. Thanks for the sweet dreams wish Rez. I'll let you know. :D

Here's a hug from Dreaming Rose

Hi Kathy,

Thank you for being a part of my (now our) GordQuest 2007. Our group has spent the year traveling and bonding. I think your jacket has just about worn out. Meeting The Rez and now Borderstone have been added bonuses.

I treasure all my "peeps", and look forward to us all having other fun in the months to come. It won't be quite as much fun as spending time with the guys but I am sure we will have a few laughs. (LOL)

It was a very special day when I finally joined corfid. Thank you all for making life even better by being a part of this group.
