For GARNKAR: I have another alternative
to Pirate Queen's. Having lost all my
vinyl in a fire 12 yrs ago[when CDs were
just making it on the scene] I haven't been
able to acquire the "last 4". If you can't
wait until the expected [rumored?] release
during the 1st half of 2000 you should check out your Public Library. Much to my
delight I was able to obtain all 4 on cassette. I had to go to another branch
3 towns over from my hometown but it was
more than worth the bother. And it was free!
The Public Library has been a godsent for
me. I also would like to advise everyone:
Want to share GL's genius with others who
may have not discovered his music yet[especially the younger crowd]? Then
donate his CDs to your local Public Library.
In appreciation for what the institution has
done for me I plan to donate a SONGBOOK
Boxset the next time I see a good sale on
it. Most Public Libraries have CDs to loan
& I discovered they obtain much of what they offer by donations from thier members.
What an opportunity to add to the population of Lightheads in this world!
