What I want to know is where and when, and while doing what activity?
Some of mine are: While making love, while fishing, while house cleaning, while slow dancing, while sitting by a bonfire and "passing the jar" , while sailing, while sitting on my front porch watching the boats go by.

Often when I am doing schoolwork in the computer labs I bring my headphones and play the Lightfoot CDs in the CD player. When I do schoolwork though, I've noticed that the album goes by extremely fast.

I also listen to it at night with my headphones on before I go to sleep. But sometimes instead of getting sleepy it makes me more alert!! So it is at that moment where I might have to switch to music by another artist so I don't listen to Lightfoot all night!

To sleep with GL... All you have to do is throw away the headphones and play it very quietly over speakers.

Two of my favorite times aside from most anytime while doing most anything would be while driving anywhere(which sometimes gets me in hot water because my wife will say"you did'nt hear a word I said")and if I happen to be doing a boring job at work.CD walkman has got me through many otherwise boring hours with a smile....

Well, if I don't use headphones at night my mom and dad will wake up to the sounds of Ghost of Cape Horn or something! I use headphones so it will just be between me and Gordon Lightfoot alone hee hee

Gord has, for years, been my favorite travelling companion. Even during spells when I haven't listened to GL for a time on the home system, if I"m heading out on the road, he's the first one I pack. Matter of fact, I keep all my GL cds in one carrier just for the convenience of the road trips.

I have driven many times between Northern Maine and New York, and I almost always listen to Gord, all the way there and all the way back.

Although of course, I often listen to other singers, GL is my mainstay.
I have a cd player in every room in the house so GL is readily accessible.
All 19 albums have been copied to my computers.

And my husband has the NERVE to say I’m obsessive!!!!!

Knightmoves - The one time I am definitely not allowed to listen to GL is your first option.

Knightmoves. - I did read on the Newsgroup of one woman who was given a paper bag with a photo of GL’s face on it. Her husband was supposed to put it over his head at ‘critical’ times.
Maybe I should try that instead!
