I don't quite grasp the over abundance of Linda Evangelista pics.....but I do love the Leonard/Gordon pic at the beginning...love it.

The explanation alongside the video explains that
"I related to this song by Gordon Lightfoot when it was first released and came to love it to this day. In the opening scene Gordon is passing the time of day with the great Canadian song writer and performer Leonard Cohen.
This studio video is set in Niagara-on-the-lake-on the-River-Niagara Falls. The girl I chose in the video is the world model Linda Evangelista...who grew up a few miles from Stonewallstudios. This is a tribute to Gordon Lightfoot and Linda Evangelista, two great Canadians, one likely more well known than than other."
I didn't realize Linda was Canadian, but then I don't realy follow models' lives, lol.

I didn't know that model was Canadian either, Linda Evangelista...JJ. 
This is by far the best one Ive seen so far, with the Imageries. Very close tho is CRT.

I knew who she was - still don't get it...maybe for me there were too many pics of her and not enuf Gord....
I guess the video maker had her reasons...
so many other images I'd use....

I saw this before; not sure what supermodel Linda Evangelista has to do with this song or with Lightfoot, but it's still a nice video.

I'd never seen this one before today,01/26/07.I don't quite get the Linda Evangelista angle either,but the again-I don't even know who she is.
I actually prefer the "Gords Gold version of the song.The version that was used here doesn't even really sound like Gordon,in my opinon.Still a very nice treatment of the song,though.
To Cathy:
I don't blame you for being a little bit
put off by 'the landlord'.If my landlord looked like that I'd be scared spitless(except the word isn't 'spit'.
