I LIKE Farewell to Annabel too! My favorites are the ones with unusual intros or upbeat tunes such as
Oh Linda (Lightfoot)
Make way for the lady(Shadows)
Boathouse(Painter)
Fading Away(Waiting for you)
Sweet Guinevere(Endless Wire)
Let it Ride, and You just gotta be (East of Midnight)
Bend in the Water, The soul is the rock (both from Cold on the Shoulder)
Marie Christine, and Don't beat me down (Back Here on Earth)
...to name a few!
and Circle of Steel and Seven Island Suite from Sundown. Those are the ones that I crank up and sing along with.

Didn't know there was an "Oh Linda." I'm going to have to point that one out to my mother. She loves songs with her name in them; ie Conway Twitty's "Linda On My Mind," etc. If that doesn't make a fan out of her, nothing will!
It was Kris Kristofferson who wrote "Me and Bobby McGee." Everyone and his uncle has recorded it. I'd like to hear GL's version. I've always liked that song. When my aunt (whose last name is McGee) was pregnant, I begged and begged for her and her husband to name the child Bobby. They wouldn't do it.

err, the lyrics aren't very nice so maybe it's best she doesn't hear it!
