Is anyone going to this show? I'm going to this one, too.

Evenin' Sheryl,

You mentioned the location in Agoura, but I've already forgotten. Would you please remind me.

A friend in Toluca Lake is planning on Cerritos, but, for Alan, Agoura would be closer.

I'd be there myself also, but I can't stray to far from Mama. This caregiving is a blessing for us each and both, but must stay close by.

Cerritos is close.

Adios Again,

The Rez

PS: I used to live in the Valley (Sherman Oaks, then Toluca Lake.) Played a few gigs up and down Ventura Blvd.

Also at that hotel off the fwy almost to Agoura in "Lake Something or Other." What a time to draw a blank, pardner!

Hmmm, Westlake is the only thing that comes to mind. I have seen a lake there. I pretty much grew up in Studio City, I'm sure you know it well. I went to The Baked Potato a few times -- I bet you played there, didn't you? Great jazz club. Lots of places on the boulevard to play at. (play in?) !!

So, Gord is playing at The Canyon Club in Agoura Hills on Sunday night, April 24. I would LOVE it if you could make it, but, understand if you can't. Yes, Cerritos would be closer for you. Toluca Lake is practically my back yard. About 5 min. from it. I'm in North Hollywood, across from L.A. Valley College (geez, this is going out into the internet?) So, your friend Alan is going to Agoura Hills? I'd love to meet up with any friends of yours. My husband, Gabe, and I will be sitting, hopefully, at the table closest to Gord!! I will be the one with stars in her eyes.

Sheryl,

Westlake! That's it. Also, in Westlake Village (the guy still owes me $500 - long gone)at some defunct restaurant.

The Baked Potato - oh, yeah. I've never been a strong jazzer on piano, but have played there a few times w/ folks who do know what they're doing.

I lived at Woodman & Ventura just off the fwy. I still go up there to Barone's for lasagna. They have another one in Toluca Lake.

I loved Toluca Lake also. Memorable times. Close to the studios.

Haven't heard tonight from Alan as to Cerritos or Aguora for him & probably his boys, Brennan & Robin. Boys? There as old now as my three boys.

Cerritos is a concert setting - no tables. Sounds like The Canyon Club will be more intimate - more cabaret. Wish I could go to both. So does my mom. But we're thankful for the one.

You and Husband have a great time. Keep those stars.

I'll be in the area, but not at that show. Had to draw the line, somewhere, Seems like it was in the area of Maibu, when I considerred it and I think my hotel is in Woodland, which is also close to there.
Have Fun!
Kimberly
