I expect my copy to arrive any day. Just wondering what you guys thought of it. It has mixed reviews on Amazon.

Irish,
Since you just attended your first Gord concert, I believe you'll enjoy the Reno concert very much.
Welcome to the group.

I thought it was a pretty good concert. I felt the shooting of the concert was awful. It was out of focus and spent too much time focusing on the audience and not enough on the stage. That having been said, I thoroughly enjoyed the shots of the band interaction...Terry and Rick and Barry were a hoot. I wonder if Gord is aware of that. I don't think he could see most of it. Anyway, I hope you will enjoy it. The music was fine...of course it was good... it was Gord.

It's great. You'll love it. Turn it up and turn off your phone. Watch it all the way through in one sitting. Have fun !

Pay no attention to Amazon or anyone else's reviews Irish. It's best to make up one's own mind about how great it is.
GL fans, usually, ignore most negative reviews anyway.
For simply good music and entertainment five stars out of five from me.

Same here has Border. My Reno DVD is a real treasure to me. I had the concert taped from the CBC Special, but I sent for the DVD on Val's Site, knowing there was more songs on it, than the tv one. And I have my living room television hooked up to full stereo sound, it is incredible... Those two guitars of his just sound awesome . Also when you see Rick hit a Bass chord, the only thing better would be if you were actually in the Pioneer Theatre in Reno... A 10, on a scale from one to 10.

Irish,
We got a copy in the spring, and as I had stated in another thread, we absolutely LOVE it!! (No matter what the critics may say....what do they know? ) My husband and I watched, just mesmerized by seeing Gord and his facial expressions. It's just priceless. I mean to hear him is always, wonderful, but to see him, too, is JUST such a treat.
Gord, We LOVE you!!

I also REALLY love it. I got it as a VHS Tape a couple of years ago, saw it once than we got rid of the VHS Player...
Just a few weeks ago I treated myself to the DVD and I'm happy I did. After I saw him in concert last year, I treasure it even more - makes the waiting time for the next concert shorter
Also, as a guitar player, it's nice to get sometimes a closer look at how he play's certain songs!
