Michael,
Check out the Wayne Francis site listed on this site, you will find the chords/lyrics to pretty much all of Godon's songs. Just a note on the capo,"The Wreck" is capoed on the 2nd fret,I do believe...

actually Michael, you have been listening to not one song but as it should have said on the "Gord's Gold" CD track listing (it does on the "Sunday Concert" album from which this particular recording comes "Medley I'm Not Sayin'/Ribbon of Darkness" these being two of the songs on Gord's first United Artists album "Lightfoot!"
As Brian said Wayne Francis' comprehensive site:-
http://www.lightfoot.ca
has the lyrics to all Gord's songs including in most cases suggestd chords and many ubnreleased or demo songs
and you therefore need to go to http://www.lightfoot.ca/lyrchord.htm
which alphabetical listing links to:- http://www.lightfoot.ca/imnotsay.htm
and:- http://www.lightfoot.ca/ribbonof.htm
both of which have chord indication
In your profile you declare that you are from:-
Poecking,Germany
Is that a long way from Klaus-Peter who also started posting here recently (as RCI)
see:- http://www.corfid.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/003053.html
who in that topic said he "hails" from (oops sorry both of you I sould not have said "hail" me bad!!!)
he actually said "I live in a little village near Berlin in the state of Brandenburg."
Hw has yet to answer my question there where I asked:-
"have you any ideas on why Gordon is/was so obviously popular in Germany?"
Can you comment on that Michael??
John Fowles
I just found that there is another Wayne Francis from Swindon UK
who also has a web site at:- http://wayne.francis.name/
I wqonder if our" Wayne knows .I must let him know it just might be a long lost cousin!!

I had to return one more time before 6pm,becaue i was just on a site called Super 70s.com and was reading other folks posts about "The Gong Show".
One person mentioned that they saw Paul Rubens (later "Pee Wee Herman) on the show back then, dressed as an indian and singing (*gasp! ) "Rainy Day People'!
Now that sounds like a true nightmare! I hope they gonged him silly! :D LOL! Just thought I'd share.
www.super70s.com
Look in complete shows list for "Gong Show".
