Well now- it looks like I may know where I'll be headed on Sunday....we'll seee how things go this week and what the weather is like. It was 50 yesterday but on Sunday it was pouring rain and about 45....we just might get winter back....
Jory is opening for Stacey Earle (Steve Earle's sister) tonight at Hugh's Room and J.P.Cormier is there on Feb.8.

Well, it won't be much of a WinterCity fest if the temperature is very warm LOL. There's supposed to be free skating at Nathan Philips Square. On the other hand, it would make for more comfortable viewing of the show ...

Stacey Earle has played for our concert series and is great - add Jory to the mix and it's sure to be an incredible show!

I don't think Stacey and Jory were at Nathan Phillips Square...They were at Hugh's Room last week.
I did catch JP Cormier singing Song For A Winters Night on the news while folks were skating around and snow was falling yesterday afternoon. He looked a bit chilled...lol
I didn't get down because Lisa was ill.

I was there and it was somewhat disappointing ... only a half-hour thing with the songs including Song for a Winter's Night, Early Morning Rain, Sundown. Each of the four musicians played one or two songs, backed by drums, keyboard and bass. J.P. Cormier was the best of the bunch - Song for a Winter's Night came off really well.

Yeah - it was Hugh's room. When I mentioned them, I was responding to your post a few entries up where you plugged the Stacey/Jory gig. Sorry, I forgot to quote so it would be clear what I was talking about
Hope Lisa is feeling better

The lightfoot tribut concert in Ottawa is the end of April. The location has been changed this year and there is more publicity. Last years was very good but a lot of people did not know about it. The last two shows have been very good and I highly recommend them
