Yes indeed, RM, you've found one that wasn't on my list of identified combinations! And not on my "new" list either

Well done

[quote=jj;148890]

are the 6 new ones falling mainly under a new song or a new song within category? follow?

Some of the songs have been "songs within songs", some are new to the list. I was thinking, maybe I could give clues as to which album each song is on.

On (Album 1), there is a song (Song #1) whose lyrics contain the title of a song (Song #2) from (Album 2).

For example:

On the album Salute, there is a song whose lyrics contain the title of a song from the album Don Quixote.

Does that make sense?

Hi Ann, FYI just thought you might get a kick out of stepping back for a moment from what really matters - having fun, and Lightfoot music here I'm sure , - and notice the HUGE amount of views in your 50-some posts.

Just as RM told me and I had not noticed, I bet you don't know that over 1,200 people have viewed this thread. After I heard Ron's similar observation on Lyrics quizzers, I later added 5 web tags to hopefully draw in more Lightfoot fans - by virtue of the tags I chose. You can do it at the bottom of the last post thus far, and click on - I think modify tags, and add 5 Lightfoot'ey (is that a word lol) tag words to wrangle in new Lightheads.

Even though they find us its said - if 1/3 of every concert were representative of potential good members that do not know of us, take his common audience size now - what.... maybe 1500 - 3000 or so, times how many audiences per tour/region, that could be where some of these views are coming from.... more potentially.

- I'll check as soon as this posts on the add/modify tags - but you'll see it on your thread level if you want to do it. Best of continued fun and luck on this great idea for the thread.- "why I remember that one momentous day, when mandoann said in lyrics quizzers ' hey, I have an idea - see this song within a song ?" - and after a little nudge you took off for fame and fortune, and you still remember us little people.

I'll try to squeeze more songs from within songs as jj put it above - in here next time. - later.

I checked - (you probably allready knew this, if so, sorry 'bout that, chief ) and yes, after whatever post is last -and inch or 2 underneath, to left and right, there is a 'tags' and an 'edit tags' function. You DO have a very high views to posts/thread size ratio - that number isn't useful for much since we are not Madison avenue advertisers on the web, but its just interesting to think how many good ppl that like Lightfoot music we could capture with minimal effort. Then again, if we unknowingly pick the wrong nature of tags, we could quadruple the spammers for Char to cull, and lamers lamenting everything lol, who knows

We just need to have Florian deftly cut a chunk of code, and programmatically corrolate the views on tagged threads vs not-tagged, and any other useful Q's like that... He'd say 'no problem...sure....... lol/not....but....who knows ? Also interesting from just a curiosity point of view, the ratio of views/posts - I've notice this fluctuate with some correspondance to types of threads/how they're named etc. - not for petty bragging rights or anything like that, but rather from a more rigorous look, observations could be made/test tags quantified - etc., guiding how new Lightheads 'DO find us' could be potential to maximize. - later

Hey Steve,

Thanks so much for your kind words and the "tag" idea. I'll look into that when I get back from Austin next Thursday...

Take care, all you Lightheads, hopefully many will be there too on the first concert of Tour 2009!
