A feeling . . . no, a knowing . . .
expressed in so many ways by so many who hold dear their Gifts
- however expressed -
that those Gifts weren't just learned in childhood
and developed with experience

As we grow to hold our Gifts more dear, comes this singular awareness:
Each holds Gifts unique to each . . . without exception.
Gifts aren't skills we learn but inborn innate arenas where we each shine

I said to a musician friend:
The way you play . . . it seems so hard to do!
He replied to me:
If you can do it, it's not hard

Just a few short days ago, it finally came together for me . . .
both Musically and Scripturally . . .
what my heart had felt and known all these years:

My Gifts were present and alive . . . woven together with my Spirit
from before the First Moment

"Mickey Newbury writes:
"I Came to Hear the Music - I came to hear the Sound"
"I came to Love the Music before I came to Be"
"Long time ago. I don't know. I sang the Song along with the Wind"

David writes in Psalm 139:13:
"You alone created my inner being.
You wove me inside my mother's womb"

In her own search, a Canadian lady called Oriah writes "The Invitation":

"So I sat down to write at my desk in the dim light of the streetlamp outside my window. Since I was a child I have written to understand myself and the world,to find stories that show me the meaning I can make of my life

As the words flowed, I recognized a voice that has always been there within me: the voice that passionately seeks life's purpose; the voice of the tired heart that longs for real intimacy and deep rest; the voice that asks me to be fully present with it all . . . the pain and the joy - the beauty and the sorrow; the inner silence . . . and the noise of the world"

I write:

"Then I am a child again - mounted upon wings as eagles

I am running wild again - renewed within my strength, I do not weary

I believe in All again - as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be

World Without End

Begin . . .

Goodnight, dear hearts . . . and gentle people

The invitation is a wonderful poem...
As were your thoughts, so honestly shared.
A beautiful breeze you sent our way,
cool and refreshing.
Nice to see you posting...and writing...
hope you are well
Goodnight Rez

Bless Your Hearts, Friends . . .

A reply from a friend I choose to keep anonymous.

I figure his statement holds more power w/o his identity.
Suffice it to say, from a searcher:

"I think that train of clarity is just around the corner---
hasn't arrived yet, but I hear the whistle"

For the Love of it All,

The Rez

this is the website that Oriah who lives outside of Toronto has - she wrote "The Invitation" and it can be read in its entirety along with some of her other writings at:

Thanks for the site Charlene,

It's a Good Day when you learn something new.

I'm on the road to find out . . .
