What line(s) from Gord songs do you use from time to time in your everyday life?
If someone teases about how they're going to whip me in a fight or if they say they can beat me in certain games(mostly board games) I calmly and quietly say "Your welcome to try if you like".
Another one I like to use is "If your ready for me I'm ready for you".
I once told some dude,
who was bugging me and trying to pick a fight,"Step Up or Step Back!" Sounds kind of corny now that I just typed it but it worked back then. I stepped up,he stepped off! Later!

I figured this topic would get more post than it did. Maybe it's because when I gave my example it made it sound like I was using lines from songs in a fighting situation. But I was asking if anyone ever used lines at all. I know one I've heard is "only love would know", and that was before I heard the song. I heard one of my grandparents say it once.
No - I think it's because it's so easy to think about lyrics that mean something to us, that have inspired us - but lyrics we would actually use ... well, that's different, and more difficult.
But this is one!
"... you just got to turn it around" - I use that one a lot! - especially when people around me are being negative - and I hate that!
