Default The United Artists Collection

I finally got this a few days ago and I am really loving it!
I can't believe how different the earlier versions of Ribbon of Darkness, That's What You Get For Lovin Me, Softly, I'm Not Sayin, and some others sound in comparison to Gord's Gold.
I like the fact I get to hear the entire song instead of the combined version...makes it a little more fun to sing along.
A lot of these songs sound like he just picked up his guitar and is playing just for you, not frills or additions, just pure Gordon and his guitar. It's really a joy to listen to.

Question: I remember The Circle Is Small but I can't remember if Gordon sang this when it was a hit or someone else. It seems as though I remember a different version that was played on the radio a long while back.

This collection has so many great songs to offer that I never would have heard if you all hadn't pointed it out to me. I probably would not have chosen this one on my own but I am so glad that I have it.
Thanks!

Thanks joveski and Jesse Joe,
That's such a great song and both versions are very good.

Kind of sad images to go along with the song but I guess it's a sad world sometimes...
