Default Question for Val !

Have you ever visited the Martin Guitar Co. in Nazareth Pa. Im sure you know why I ask. Yesterday I received a letter from your website, and did read it in a hurry, also did watch the video from that famous Guitar factory. Boy those guitars are well made {crafted}. I have lots of books on the Martin Guitar history, but this was the first video I saw of it.

Thanking you very much it was well appreciated. I sure would like to owned one of those GL D-18 that you have. I would play that guitar like crazy.

You can almost smell the woods in that video.

I said in the email that I had visited! "For those of you who - like I - have made the pilgrimage, it will bring back good memories." And, in the next paragraph, "I made my trip to pick up my Lightfoot guitar, #22 of 69 D-18GLs."

In fact, I picked up my D-18GL at the factory - thanks to the kindness of Dick Boak, who is responsible for the Limited and Special Editions, and works with the artists as the special guitars are designed. Tough job, huh?.

Thanks Val,

Like I said I had to read the email in a hurry, but have since read it again. It must feel like a kid in a candy store to visit that place.

Thanks again,

~Jesse Joe ~

The Martin factory tour is way cool. I am fortunate to live with a couple hours of the place which has led to several trips.

No D-18 GL. I do have a M-36 that was owned by Tom Paxton before me.

I also have a friend who makes beautiful guitars. I have a couple of those as well.

Your really lucky fezo, If I was a younger man, wouldn't mind to work at that factory.
