Geography lesson wanted

As a long-time Lightfoot lover from England, I have a few queries that we on this side of the Atlantic can't fathom:

1. Where are Biscuit City, the Seven Islands and Redwood Hill? Are they real places? Can't see them on my atlas.

2. What is "hay with no gravy"? Seems a strange item on the menu. Also what does it mean to get "burned in a three-way script"?

Gord's lyrics and place mentions are invariably crystal clear but I need help with these. Thanks.

I'll have to check out the geography but the "three-way script" means he's on the losing end of a love triangle I believe. Been there, done that!

"Making hay with no gravy" means working and not getting compensated for the work. Working and not getting paid.

I don't think there is a Biscuit City or Redwood Hill.

There are the Seven Islands somewhere in Canada. How bout some help from you Canadiens up there?

Ok folks here it is from the horses mouth: The entrance going down to Port MacNichol from the eastern extremity of Lake Huron into Georgian Bay. There are three smaller islands closer in and four magnificent islands farther out. It was a vacation spot I used to go sailing. The boat was named Sundown, incidentally. A romantic ballad about the rigors of everyday life and getting back to nature.

Also Christian Island is Georgian Bay as well. Gitchee Gumee is Lake Superior.
