I'm thinking back to story Gord related sometime ago on TV when he said he was performing in concert at Massey Hall in the mid 70's when the left side of his face suddenly dropped and it was almost like it was paralyzed, a doctor was in the audience and he was summoned to help with the situation, it was some time later that Gord revealed it was Bell's Palsy. He explained that's partially why on his LP covers he looks less than friendly cuz he couldn't smile. IE Summertime Dream and Shadows.
I'm also guessing that when he does get released from hospital he will fill us all in what generally what went on even if it isn't all the gory details.
