maybe the move is to try bring over some of his female audience… folks mainly watch the first intermission and the game itself, not the stuff around it… if he is hosting the 2nd period chat and interview (he is great at questions and listening) stuff then i won't care, cos i won't see it anyhow…yawn

so far the move has drawn an 80% disapproval rating… Mayor Ford is still at 40% approval… lol

I love George but don't like this at all - why not an actual 'hockey' guy or have revolving co-hosts including some players who are also play by play guys. ... and since George went vegan he looks tired all the time and malnourished.

George on TWITTER: a lot of people don't realize that I started my career in sports. I learned to interview by interviewing athletes.
