Lightfoot @ Mariposa tonite.
Seems our man travelled to Orillia to Mariposa.
I believe Jann Arden is the headliner tonight...
more later.

Lightfoot surprises Mariposa
Surprise guest Gordon Lightfoot took to the stage at the Mariposa Folk Festival on Saturday night. Frank Matys
ORILLIA - Hometown troubadour Gordon Lightfoot surprised the audience at the Mariposa Folk Festival Saturday evening with an unscheduled appearance. Lightfoot, who drove up to Orillia with his family for the show, was in good spirits as he performed two songs, including Bob Dylan’s ‘Ring Them Bells’. Lightfoot earlier chatted backstage with headliner Jann Arden.

Re: Lightfoot @ Mariposa tonite.
I have not slept for nights now..I have a pad of paper and pen beside my bed and am scribbling away at all hours. I have to decipher it and get it onto one piece of paper in some coherent order..
yeah-I love ESquared - his little sprints around the bases with his right arm ready to hi-five Butterfield as he rounds third..And COLBY..omigoodness I liked that kid since last year even tho his numbers were crap. He's got 'something' and he's proving it now. I'm sure the discussion will include some hockey and baseball...There, I've brought it all 'round and back on topic.

Re: Lightfoot @ Mariposa tonite.
Love the quality of the video. Can someone show it to Gord?! Maybe he'd realize that he can "relax the grip" a bit, be more casual, and actually be more universally accessible. Maybe playing BBKing place is segue to smaller venues where that's possible.
