Shameful ! Lightfoot has far more association with Dylan's legacy than the majority of those selected.

And what about THE BYRDS ? Mr. Tambourine Man - All I Really Wanna Do - The Chimes of Freedom - My Back Pages
Honestly - I am not sure just how far Dylan would have taken his great songs in the mid 60's on the power of his own voice.
THE BYRDS took his songs to a commercial level with great arrangements and vocals.
Many TOP 10 Hits came from his songs - but via THE BYRDS......

Bob doesn't acknowledge their impact much - but Bob doesn't acknowledge much!

BTW: My son Produced the track (Knockin' On Heaven's Door) on the CHIMES OF FREEDOM Project. (a father's shameless/proud plug)
He recorded & played all of the instruments (in Paris) this past Fall, and then on to Morocco to cut the vocal with Nabil and RedOne.
Then - back to L.A. for final mixing and mastering in the BIG HOUSE !
We were a bit disappointed to see that all contributing musicians - engineers and producers were omitted from the liner notes.....But then again, it would have been a novel I suppose!
A worthy cause nonetheless...
