Had a nice on yesterday. we have a venue here callled the Sidney Myer Music Bowl which is 50 years old this month (dylan did 3 shows there in '78).
a music quiz show broadcasted its episode from there last night i managed to score free tickets 5 rows from the front. it was sold out with 10,000 people. it was a special 2 hour episode of the show (excluding the reheasals) and they said there'll also be musical acts. i thought they'd be unimportant no-bodys but it ended up being some of the most famous aussie musicians that have played at the venue before since the 60s.
at the end another band (hoodoo gurus) did and hour long set..... all this for free and 5 hours in total!
