Hi, my name is Robert and I live in the San Francisco bay area. Specifically Treasure Island (look it up) I am a musician and I have played Gordons music on the streets here and in bars and dives for a long time. I was in Hawaii working for seven months and they just loved it there. I love to play and I was hoping that I could find some people locally that maybe wanted to play some too. the bottom 2 rows of videos show some of us folks having fun playing a variety of Gord tunes over the past several years (even though the fun dates back many decades)...some of these folks are from the west coast
The closet I'll ever come to playing Gords tunes is when I put one of my CD's in my CD player. Other that that, I'm not really all that musically inclined, and only have a barely tolerable voice when I sing. Still, I do like one line of a wall plaque says...I sing like there's noone there & have a fine time doing it.
Yes, I love to play GL's songs! I used to play them on guitar & piano many years ago, but recently I've been playing on my (borrowed) keyboard (with headphones ) while listening on my iPod, which has only his songs on it. Every day! I call it "jammin' with Gord"!
