Right! Say I want to know the difference in how much monthly insurance would be for two different vehicles, is there a website that would let me compare them?
For instance, I wanted to know how much insurance would be for a 2003 Chevy S10, compared to a 2003 Chevy Silverado (1500), is there a website you can to go that'll give you an estimate?
I don't know of a website other than the specific ones like Geico and Progressive. But having worked in the insurance business for 7 years, my two cents is that because they are both 2003 Chevy trucks...there won't be much of a difference unless one has more bells and whistles like anti-theft devices, etc. What really impacts the bottom line is your age, how you use the vehicle (drive to work or pleasure) and what your driving history is (accidents? tickets?). You can call different insurance agents and ask them for quotes. Shop around. They expect that. Good luck, Douglas.
