Wow! What a close resemblance!
I knew there ws something I like d about that group! That explains why I own all but one of their LP's!
For those to young or just unfamiliar,Pablo Cruise was sort of a tame version The Eagles. Good music and songs but they never became a "supergroup".
I mentioned this elsewhere, but some younger people that work in a nearby "used" LP store think that Pablo Cruise is a person & not a group! :D LOL!
I had always wondered what happened to them and why they never regrouped, especially in the "back to the '70s" 1990's.
If you've checked their discography, they only had 7 albums in 8 years. I just recently acquired their first 2 ("Pablo Cruise" & "Lifeline") at the same time (no "hits" on those but worth it.)
Starting with,"A Place In The Sun" LP in '77,they had the hit "Whatcha Gonna Do".
Then came the LP with one of the most recognizable covers of the decade.
"Worlds Away" sold millions, with hits like "Love Will Find A Way" and "Don't Wan't To Live Without it" (as well as the great track "Always Be Together".)
It was even diplayed weekly on the record store wall on ABC's "Mork & Mindy".
Then came 1979's "Part Of The Game" and the hit,"I Want You Tonight".
In 1981 there was,"Reflector" and their final hit,"Cool Love".
In '83 they had the final LP,"Out Of Our Hands",currently the hardest one to find.
Nice to hear they're touring,I checked and no,they're not stopping in Phoenix.
