Any plans, Walter? I'd love to take you out for a beer or two--too bad we're a couple of thousand of miles away.
Congrats, and many happy returns, especially from the IRS.
Best wishes,
DQ

Happy B-day, B-buddy. I'd give ya a B-day spanking, but I don't think I've got enough stamina to give that many licks. :D

Hi guys! As promised,a little about my new job.
Wel,it's been two work weeks (two sets of Mon-Fri) and I have basically, according to my new manager Craig, outdone the last three guys they hired. He noted they were young & could care less. (About a job w/weekends off??! )
Anyhow,it's prety simple,on Monday we unload deliveries, load up the same truck with outgoing merchandise. Then I assemble whatever needs to be assembled (my first job with tools!).
Then furniture is placed out on the floor over the course of week (no hurry here ) and the rest is replacing overhead flood lights & lamp bulbs and moving displays around.
I've also done a 100% clean up of the dock area,so I know where everything is. (What a mess I walked into on the 12th! )
Anyhow, that's the jist of it and the great thing is,when it's 6pm..I can go. No,"We need you longer at the last minute" kind of thing.
Quitting time is quitting time!
I have my oldest brother James to thank for finding me this job,so in a way,it's the best birthday present he's ever gotton me.
See you all later.
