Much has been said about "tough love" for misbehaving children. Most of America's populace thinks it very improper to spank children, so my spouse and I have tried other methods to control our kids when they have one of "those moments." One that we found very effective is for me just take the child for a car ride and talk. They usually calm down and stop misbehaving after our little car ride together. I've included the photo below of one of my sessions, with our son, in case you would like to use the technique. Its very effective!

OKAY... OKAY.... THIS WAS JUST A JOKE!! (and no, that's not my son!! It was a set-up picture and he wasn't really on a speeding car... just to allay anyone's fears)

Funny pic! 2 dead giveways it was a set-up. The gear shift was in park. It's obviously a Ford product by the looks of the dash and gear shift? if so, Ford's cannot go 99 MPH.

Oh, you're wrong. A Ford will go real fast if you push it off a cliff.

Now wait just a minute I have a Ford Probe and that goes plenty fast. I have a "super-speeder" ticket from the Colorado State Patrol to prove it.

I have a Ford Probe that I use as a foul weather car. Good enough car, good on gas and reliable. It's still a Ford though.

Hmm, now that I think of it, my step-sister had a Ford back in the 70's that went really fast -- she also put glasspacks on it, LOUD as a mutha, too.
