I'd like to apologize for using your forum for trying to "advertise" Russell's music.
I didn't know it would get a negative vibe like that. I hope you can forgive me,I've deleted my message. That's all for now. signing off.

Hey Sally, I don't know where you live, but if it's the greater San Diego area, we've just booked Tom Russell to play for our acoustic concert series on June 17! (our concerts are held in a small intimate venue (seats 250)with opportunity for the audience members to get "up close and personal" as the performers mingle during intermission and after the show).

I am the unregistered Sally Traffic, I posted the original Tom Russell CD cover. Sadly I did not get to see any responses before it was deleted.
It is a great album, as I said before, if you are into Ian Tyson, you will love this album.
Yes John, I am into JW, it is good to have him back on the radio after his problem.
Janice, I envy you, you will enjoy this guy he is brilliant, sadly I will not be able to see him as I live across the pond.
How long will this post last before it is deleted?

To Sally B Traffic: Hi! I'm Borderstone!
Welcome aboard! I happened to read your now deleted message before it vanished! You only got 2 replys and they were not too favorable,so I'd say it's best that you didn't see it.
I would guess that some smart-a** up here stole your name and registerd it for the sole purpose of deleting it and making you look stupid. That's just downright rude!
Some people just don't have a life I guess! Been me,later!

I'm afraid the only way to make sure your thread isn't deleted is to register and start a topic. If you're not registered, I'm pretty sure anyone can delete your message. It seems that someone felt the need to register as your user name and appologize for you. The audacity of some people!
Anyway, welcome to the board - and my advice is to register and come back often.

I don't know who it was that deleted the topic I assumed it was Sally Traffic since she is now a registered member. I was the person who had the "unfavorable reply". The reason for the reply was because there has been times that unregistered "trolls" stroll in here and write about some mystery band and then answer themselves and it has ended up having vulgar comments and gets very nasty. We have had discussions about registered or not registered before, and the members are split. I just don't like when somebody comes in here and gets trashy and nasty. This is a nice plave to come and be friendly. I apologize for jumping to conclusions and saying you should advertise elsewhere, Sally. But in the past there have been people advertising and it doesn't end up very nice. I hate pulling up a topic and reading it only to find out it is somebody who wants to swear and create problems. Does everybody remember the Bus Drivers and how annoying that got?

It must've been deleted back in the day when Florian was here or Charlene still knew her original password. How can you forget something like that when you post here regularly?

DMD3,
You can delete a post that is from an "unregistered" alien by registering the UserName that they used. Once the UserName is "yours" you can delete anything they posted. This is time consuming no doubt but an effective way to delete troll trash in the absence of an active Moderator.

It's getting closer to his concert date with our series. I recently received a promo copy of the CD you were talking about - very interesting, but I think it might take a few more listens to grow on me.
