Aha taking my cue from your mention of Chicago I googled for the mythical Touhy Avenue, which has intrigued me for yonks and found a host of results including countless directions to places of interest thereupon such as to

You know, as much as I love Gord's music this is a song I just don't think has aged well. Another song of his that deals with a similar theme in superior fashion (IMHO) is "Does Your Mother Know".
