River of Light from harmony.;
heard the 3 song smapler yesterday and i kept playing this one repeat mode. mov over wherefore and why - this one takes your place.
if anyone hasn't heard this yet, you'll love it.
here's a nice echo on the 3 tracks and i immediately thought the River of light has a hint of Uncle toad said in the musical arrangement.
excellent tune and i can't wait for the whole album to land in my hands!

Agreed J-ski! I also like this tune very much. It is my wife's favorite of the three though I think I am most smitten with Inspiration Lady at this point.

It's my favorite, too! I think I wore out the "File" and "Play" buttons on Real Audio!

Yeah, that "echo" effect is pretty cool. I wonder if that was done on purpose or is it a side effect of where he laid down the original tracks ? Nice stuff indeed.

I love all three of the songs. Can't wait myself for the CD to hit my CD player. I really love the keyboards in "Flyin' Blind". Reminds me of something from the 70's.
Is it just me or does Gord seem to be hitting more of the lower notes in comparison to the "Painter" CD?

it sounds very similar to Painter to me. there are some lower notes and a bit more of an echo to it, but it sounds very similar to my ears - and that's a good thing!
