Can anyone tell me if they know who swede #1091, is? He answered both Quiz, about the man. Two difficult questions. I told him your Gordon Lightfoot or someone very close to him...

Aahh, the glories of anonymity

For some reason I'm thinking that swede was the man that Bru (or someone) ran into in the hotel lobby and invited to our after concert party last year in Toronto. I distinctly remember the man and his lovely lady-friend and the circumstance of them being at the party, and I'm fairly certain that he said he posted infrequently at Corfid and that he owned one of the Lightfoot signature Martins, but my memory is fuzzy on his given name and whether or not, for sure, it was the username "swede" that he claimed.

In any event, I feel pretty confident that swede isn't Gordon Lightfoot and I'd also be willing to bet that swede isn't one of the band members or part of the management team either.

(egads, either the brain works faster than the fingers or the other way around - had to fix some typos)

Thank's Janice, very much. I was almost certain that it was the poet himself. He got both quiz really to a "T". Well is there any way this Swede is going to come out of the woods, and say who he is? Maybe not? I will just have to think of another question, like those two... JJ. :D

I am not Gordon Lightfoot. I have a lousy voice and can't play the guitar. I am though the Swede to which Janice refers (except I do not own a Lightfoot signature Martin). Good memory Janice. It was a pleasure being at the after concert party and meeting other Lightheads. I've only met Lightfoot once, after the same concert. South-paw was just a guess but is consistent with the casual expressions that Lightfoot often is quoted as using. Re Iqaluit, I taped the Gzowski interview and watched it several times.

Thank you very much Swede, that explains everything. You had me thinking there for a while. I tought I had made contact with the poet genius himself... JJ. :D

Swede, it was certainly a pleasure having you join us. I met a few new folks that trip and it was wonderful. We'll be doing it again in November, so keep checking back for the details.
