I heard that Brita is unmarried and still in Toronto, Cathy Smith is married and I think lives in Hamilton(would if she visited Gord at the hospital)but what happened to Cathy Coonley, did she stay in Canada or move back to the US, I think Eric is in a band in Toronto. What is the age difference between Gord and Liz? I have never seen the actual age difference just references to the fact she is quite young.
I did read the Collins bio and it seems that Gord left quite a lasting impression on these ladies.

I don't know if she's the same one but there's a Cathy Coonley Fleming working at the Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care. In their October 2002 newsletter, they noted "Cathy Coonley Fleming from Fitness and Health Promotion at the Terrace/Wagman, who is completing her Master of Education degree in Counselling Psychology for Community and Education Settings at OISE, University of Toronto" is one of 3 recipients of the 2002 Hy & Bertha Shore and Harry & Sara Gorman Award. The next month there's a blurb that "Dance/Movement Therapist Cathy Fleming is taking an educational leave of absence until May 2003 to work on her Master's degree in Counselling at OISE."
Coonley's an uncommon enough name that this might be her.

I don't think you'll see Gord and Cathy Smith in the same room again..not in this lifetime. Her substance abuse problems were a bane to Gord for some time. He finally had to force her from his home, from what I've read over the years. She was "partying" with John Belushi in that motel the night before he was found dead. Gord keeps as far away from her as possible. If she showed up at the hospital, Liz would have made darn sure she was kept far away.

Gord did pay for Smith's attorney fees for the Belushi case. But Liz wasn't around yet. Smith though was the muse for Sundown, Gord said she was a stray girlfriend, I guess that was a polite way of putting it.
