Corfid Picture ID?
I don't know if this has been discussed yet but has anyone talked about having an ID picture next to our names in the Author section? It's just an idea. What do you think?

Yeah, makes you wonder if the people taking those photos at the DMV didn't used to work for the police department making wanted posters.
On the other hand, thanks to digital editing I have photos of myself that look nothing like me and everything like Drew Barrymore. Be happy to post one of those

Thanks for the replies folks. Doesn't seem like y'all are interested! Well if we did do something like that, I would be calling on our friend jj to do my picture!

SM,
John Fowles was collecting pictures for a sort of directory, I think, at one time. I just got my passport in the mail Saturday and the dang picture looks just like me,LOL. I'd go for it but many of our associates are, for good reasons, concerned with privacy, etc. It would have to be optional but then the trolls would have something else to make fun of.

Yes, I guess that's probably not a good idea. Well how about selecting an animated cartoon character or something to represent us! Hmm...

Ahem. Only if we each get to pick our own animation or smilie or whatever. I'd just as soon some smartass not pick mine for me.

Better, but you still haven't captured the essence of violet.

Just noticed this topic.
Hey,Station!....My pic can be found in the thread,"Wanted:Borderstone At Last Breaks Cover" from back in March.
Feel free to use that one and you could do the animation for me too,try and find a pic of a very happy looking dog in a field of flowers.
No,I'm not kidding!

Hi!
It's not possible to use a "picture ID" or "avatar". The reason I've not enabled this function is that I think it's too much of a distraction. (and I don't want to see RM arrested )

I know that if it were possible, then I think that I'd choose either a cat, a grizzley bear, a wolf, or even a moose as my image.
