Watchman's fun thread with a spoof of TWOTEF with Ben/Jen Lyrics and link to its site of origin reminded me of another site. I posted the link to the other site I found awhile back at the end of Watchman's thread for people who want additional spoof's to those at his link.

I've learned that a post buried at the very end of a thread with new info not pertinent to the existing thread can be a poor way to get info out to all who might be interested.

So, I thought a new thread was warranted. I think some of the alternative site's song spoof's are a hoot; others are tasteless flotsam.

The following link goes directly to the GL spoofs page. I think Watchman's site link is excellent, but you might find these others fun as well.

There are about 80 spoofs of Gord's work, many in poor taste, irreverant to say the least. Most are of TWOTEF, and *many* of his other hits. Also, there are some from the UA 60's period AND lesser-known songs of his as well!

Some are pretty funny, though. In case you haven't seen this (other) website before: Its "amiright" as in: Am I right or what ?

************THE LINK:

- goes direct to Gord spoofs.

Thanks to Watchman for his original post and the idea he gave me which reminded me of this website. I found it a month or so ago. Why I didn't post it, I do not know. Well..... maybe I DO know.

I think I was wary of the "this subject has been allready done about 3 tears ago or so, but I guess I'll reply the same as I did then, *yawn*" - raspberry-type replies LOL, and then, scourned, shunned, & publicly declared poorly-read in corfid archives, I'd then feel my topic is redundant or less-than-cutting-edge...LOL j/k hehe :D . I'll take my chances.

I hope you enjoy these.
Personally - I recommend "Sunburn" for Sundown.

I about busted a gut over "Porcupine People" AKA Rainy Day People.

"Porcupine People always know when it's time to stick around..."
.."porcupine people don't mind if you stand off a pace or two". LOL!
