Now I'll have to work on Susan to persuade her that she should paddle in the Pacific again at Vancouver, where I have several friends including that wonderful "busker" Ron "lighthead2toe" Jones.
thinks maybe I can entice her with the prospect of seeing the fabulous Steam clock in gastown (built as long ago as 1977)??

John, you do such clever things on the computer...superimposing all that Toronto snow surrounding the steam clock, for example. You do have a great sense of humour!
When Gord retires, he'll probably want to move out west.....
Just kidding!

I think it's just hilarious that my sisters, who live in Bangor, ME and Wallingford, CT are wallowing in a foot of new snow, and we, way up here in Northern Maine, only have a dusting. It's generally the other way around.
Of course, that may change tonight.
Val is driving up here.... from Denver. I think she must be somewhere close to the east coast by now. I hope she stays UNDER the snow storm.

I'm here! In Presque Isle, Maine. Amazing. It did snow in Northern Maine yesterday, but not during my trip up - and I managed to dodge the snow coming in from Denver. Of course, my trip took 4 days, as I reversed direction to avoid the snow in Des Moines and then stayed South all the way east. It actually wasn't a bad route.
I know this post is off topic, but Cathy started it! Blame Cathy ...
