How many Gord videos are out? I have seen one mentioned, but cannot seem to find it. Are there other concert videos around?
Thanks,
Sean

Sean you specified concert videos? There is currently just the one official video the wonderful one recorded back in 2000 in Reno Nevada
This is available as a DVD (recommended) at Amazon.com:- http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000 5TNFN/qid%3D1086301698/sr%3D11-1/ref%3Dsr%5F11%5F1/104-2068062-9650355#product-details

If you do not have a DVD Player Amazon also carry the VHS tape version:- http://www.amazon.com/exec/obido s/tg/detail/-/B00005TNFM/qid=1086301870/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/104-2068062-9650355?v=glance&s=video#product-details

The only other full concert is the 1979 PBS Soundstage from Chicago. This is described on Wayne's site at:- http://www.lightfoot.ca/tvappear.htm
but this was never officially released. VHS copies are around and somebody took a great deal of trouble making up a so-called DVD/CD version which a number of Californian profiteers peddle on ebay occasionally.
I thought that there was one on auction right now but i'm blowed if I can find it so it may have been sold already. I did in an earlier thread link to a pic of the DVD case artwork which looks very authentic. However I believe that most of the VHS copies out there are multi-generational and the video part is dodgy (the audio is fine though) and whoever made the DVD as far as I know used one of those sub-standard copies. Just maybe there is a good clean original in "official" hands and there are very many Lightheads who would snap them up if ever officially released. How about it EMP or Linus??
As far as promotional videos like the current superb Inspiration Lady Gord did a few some years back but again these are not commercially available

Sean, being in the industry, you might know this but I'll mention it anyway. He made 4 videos in 1982 for the Shadows LP,these being,"Baby Step Back"-"Shadows"-"In My Fashion"-and "Blackberry Wine".
("Triangle" and "She's Not The Same" would have been more adventursome choices!)
I'd give anything within reason to see these.

Along the same lines I did see Gerry Rafferty's,"Baker Street" video in 1983,5 years after it was a hit. A simple yet interesting clip!
Not on Mtv though (my mother wouldn't hear of "paying" to watch TV!) I saw it on local Phoenix video channel 61. A low power station located only 1/2 a mile from where I lived then.
They only lasted a year and 9 months but a saw a slew of videos in that time. In fact, they were the 1st video station in the entire U.S. to play Cyndi Lauper's,"Girls J.W.T.H.Fun" in Dec. of that same year.

If only they had played GL's videos! Darn it!
Ah,well..been me,Aurevoir!
