I've read that Gord's in a brand-new house. Did the old mansion in Rosedale ever sell? Or did he hang on to it? Just curious.

He's been in a new home for a few years. The Rosedale home was sold at that time I would assume.

I wonder why a man such as Gordon would want or ned a mansion for anyway. Even if I had the cash flow,a simple house is enough for me. (Two story but simple.)  Later!:cool;

Seriously though,I really don't think any paragraphs here or replies have any mention of tastes. I just thought GL had simpler ways than that. Ex-cuuuuuuse Me!

Yeah, maybe he bought it for the family! I know if I had any $$$ I'd be going for interior SPACE!!! As much as I could afford! This spoken from a mom of 3 girls...currently living (squashed) in a really small home!

B,
Having a bunch of people under one roof makes you want/need the space. And if you use the house for other things, music, etc. you really need more space. We just built a fairly huge house and I'm already planning on putting up a shed in the spring, I need a little more room for the garden stuff, etc. And you wouldn't believe the stuff you can collect after 20 years of marriage and a kid, etc. But simple is nice too, I just don't think you can go backwards too easily.
Bill
Edited to change "kids" to "a kid", we only have one, oops....

If I ever get enough $$$ to make that kind of decision I would get me a simple house but have lots of hot cars and stuff like that.

Spoken like a true man.
At least you spared us the blonde bikini babes part of the equation.
Me, I'd buy a nice house with lots of land and a barn or two. I'd raise a few chickens, breed some horses and dogs and go fishing in the summer.
