"Wherefore and Why." When I actually get up in the early A.M. ,there's no better song to make you look forward to the day. I don't think you can get more optomistic than that. Been me,later!

I'd pick "Second Cup Of Coffee" volume about 6 and hit repeat. After about three passes I'm ready to tackle anything. LOL

I never thought about this one. 'Heaven Don't Deserve Me' sounds like it's looking on the bright side of life. The lyrics and the tune make it seem very optimistic to me.

The impression I get from Heaven Don't Deserve Me is the very egotistical idea that he's so great that he's to good even for that. I could be wrong and I might just be taking it out of context but that's what I get. Been me,later!

Jg005! I just recorded Christian Island on a self-made cassette tape last night! It's a little pet project of mine on 120 minute tapes. That way,I can fit at least 16 or 17 songs on each side. I put that song before The First Time. Which I followed with 3 other classics to end the B-side of tape 1. You're right,it's a very optimistic song. Later!

One of mine would be Whispers of the North. But I do have a couple. BTW Borderstone, Gord also said that Heaven Don't Deserve Me, might mean that he is too bad for Heaven and it doesn't deserve someone like him. But as with most of his songs he is a bit vague.

Poor but happy. Yeah. Try selling that concept to today's young couples. "Oh,honey! You're so fine, who needs a grip o'cash?" "I'll just work 'til I drop, all for you!" I'm not being pessemistic, really! Later!

Your right. I now have this song on 'Gords Gold' and it is the kind of song you listen to in the morning to start your day.
