Ian and Sylvia reunion- Gord sings EMR with them and Knotty Pine.
scroll through directory tolinks. thanks to Rick Daly who posted at the NG with this stuff on his site. Fabulous! http://www.folkusa.org/directory.htm
there's other Lightfoot songs done by other performers and the 1967 Lightfoot performance of CRT as well.
Great stuff!

Thanks so much Char!

Thanks, Char-this is great!
In addition to the GL songs, I love the "Farewell to Nova Scotia" one. I've only heard it done by Wicked Tinkers (who I think are great), but it's fun to hear it by another group.
Where do you dig up this stuff??

The clips were fantastic - thank you so much!! I watched them with my 11 year old daughter who I'm turning into a Lightfoot fan. I had just bought her a CD player and a few days ago she asked me for her own CD of Gordon Lightfoot!! (Now, that's good parenting, hahaha!!) God bless Gordon Lightfoot!

i've always grimaced from the producer's decision to insert the non-Gord-flattering-bed-head interview clip during KP...imo, just let that clean performance be and add pre or post clip, better yet, audio only overdub
the legendary Tyson still has 'that' voice!
great show, thanks for going to the trouble

Indeed he does! I got emotional seeing them together again. Ian and Sylvia have always been big faves of mine.

Hey Rona if you would email me I have something I wish to send to you
perhaps it is my PC but although I downloaded the .wmv video files of Nova Scotia and Knotty Pine they both play annoyingly jerky. Anybody else have that problem??
Other .wmv files I have including of course the beautiful Inspiration Lady video play perectly and made wonderful video CDs
