Yes very nice pix
number one is my favourite
Err Umm

But Denny I personally feel they deserve some explanation;
Like who took them and where
John's golden rule number 47 of a series of thousands
If every picture tells a story then it should also have at least a caption

[/QUOTE]Hello and sorry for the omission.
Photos are from 10/01/06...
Prince George, BC
CN Center

All are invited to add suitable captions.

I think that those knowledgeable in the photography world can appreciate the equipment required to obtain these types of results in these conditions..let alone about 200-300 clicks!
I am glad you appreciated them - as I do.

I have a beautiful new photo on my home page at www.gordonlightfoot.com . If you don't want to visit there (shame on you), here it is:

Carl Chalupa is the same photographer whose beautiful black and white photo was posted here a few weeks ago.

Yet another great picture of Lightfoot.

I have been to your site many times over the years...lots of effort and it shows! Great job Val.

The man looks smashing in a white shirt and vest. I wonder if he could give Justin Hayward a little fashion advice

Val, your site is absolutely awesome. Loved the CD clips by Cathy Cowette.....another album to put on the "to buy list". Also found the article about the Roger McGuinn "Limited Edition
MD-7" very interesting.

Great one Val. Lots of character and the intensity of the moment is perfertly captured. The capacity he has to make it look so simple holding down those idyllic chords just shines out in this photo. A thousand words could be written into viewing such an image. Keep them coming. Ron J.

My thanks to all who share their images with the rest of us, both here in this thread as well as all the others.

Many of them I copy to my GL photos folder...

Hopefully I'll have some concert shots to share later this summer... we'll see.

And to the rest of you who haven't yet shared pictures here because it seems daunting, let me assure you that Sir John's instructions are fool proof! Jump in, the water's fine!!!

Yes, that's Carl Chalupa's photo too, the black & white I mentioned had been posted before. He told me that it was his first time seeing Gord live and he was really excited about it. I suggested to him that he find a way to get to Mariposa for some more photos. His shots are just beautiful!
