Wow, sorry if I seem overwhelmed with this Sunday Concert album, I just humbly am, overwhelmed that is...what a spiritually connected song, anyone know what it all relates to?

Looks like a very good song, from reading the lyrics, anyway! I don't have the album yet...it's on my list!

no apologies required/needed

music. it's a funny thing .... i guess what i mean to say ....

i remember getting my first transistor radio. at the time, there was only one AM station in my town, WSAI, that played rock and roll. i'd place the transitor under my pillows at night to listen. i can't even remember who all the artist were, but suffice it to say, i enjoyed going to sleep.

then around the mid 60's an FM radio station came out. it was called Jelly Pudding Radio and only aired on Sunday nights. it was called progressive rock at the time. Eric Clapton and Vanilla Fudge

awesome stuff ...

anyway ... i caught GL around 1973 or so. i knew i had heard GL's work, but didn't pay much attention. i mean, with PP & M and the Kingston Trio, Pete Seeger, Dylan, Donovan .. GL was not at the top of my list.

it was not til 75 when GL turned my head with Sundown. From that point on, I have listened to GL and less than half dozen other artist on a consistant basis. and the majority of the time, it's GL.

To make a list ...
Gordon Lightfoot
Bob Dylan
Doc Watson
John Prine

so ... don't apologize for being, at any level, a GL fan whatsoever. you're not alone
