Question?? Was the Space Shuttle as we know it, even in existance when Lightfoot wrote this song. Was he actually refering to the Space Shuttle ( Columbia, Challenger, Discovery )??

It seems as though the Space Shuttle was after the release of Summer Time Dream.

Also, I'm going to the concert Aug. 13 at the Paramount in Aurora, Illinois and I am so excited that I can't hardly stand it. We are staying at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles Illinois. If anyone needs a place to stay, you should check it out!! It sure seems like a good place.

I'm still waking up so excuse the mumbles. The Space Shuttle (as we know it) actually began w/ Enterprize, which didn't fly, but was the first completed Shuttle shuttled out of the public to see.

Thanks to Mama & Dad for this am's post. They were part of the space team Mercury - Shuttle. So, my "kids" room were plastered w/ space posters.

The Rez

. . . too lazy myself for googling yet today
