I am in detroit mich and went to the FOX to see Gordon Lightfoot. Man, I miss Canada sometimes. I grew up in Canada and migrated to the US. It is always good to hear a strong canadian singer. I hope it won;t be my last time seeing him. I saw him back in the 80's
Have always loved his ballads! As far as a favorite.....that is a tough one. Railway trilogy is up there. I have a cottage in Temagami not far form the trans canada rail. so evertime I am there I hear the trains and his song sticks in my head.
Gordon, You did a great job and I loved the jab about the Maple Leafs - even though I am Canadiens fan
Gordon, I hope you read these sometimes. I work for Wayne State University and was plesently surprised to see that Gordon lived wiht Joni Mitchel around the college! who says great thigns don;t come out of Detroit!
