So glad to see this site and this bb still going. I've been a GL fan since If You Could Read My Mind came out...how long ago? I was a street musician for a while in the 70s and I always got a good response from doing Gords' songs. His music has carried me thru many things in my life and I certainly consider myself fortunate that I was alive to knwo his music and to have seen at least one of his shows in my life. I still love playing and listening to and singin g his songs. If only more music and musicians had the same integrity!!!

Hi and welcome!

Even an average Gord song is better than 95% of anything else out there.

My first Gord memory is "For Lovin' Me". I was only 5 or 6 years old and (obviously) had no idea what the song meant, but I was hooked for life. And yes, Gord's songs have carried me through good and bad too.

Note: Edit was to fix a word I missplet.

By the way, Rowdee, where are you from and where did you play as a street musician?
