Anyone noticed there hasn't been any songs that "fade off" at the end since Gord's Gold 2? (Only Love Would Know from the WFY album kind of fades at first, but if you turn the volume up, you can hear it end).

Oh, oh. Maybe you should change your name. Fading Away just doesn't cut it.

Hey that's right. My name is "Fading" Away. :D
But is it on purpose there have been no more fade-offs?
At least there have been no 'fade-ons' lately (such as Baby It's Alright from IYCRMM; you can't really hear it begin, you just hear guitar playing getting louder and louder. )

Maybe it has something to do with live performances. You can't fade off when singing to an audience. The song has to have an end. He probably wrote them that way to simplify things.

A lot are my favorites, but not all of them would make such good names. Also, the song "Fading Away" seems to fit my lifestyle right now. :D
